A remake might provide some good course correction.After a ten year-long hiatus, Dead Space is back from the dead, and it’s safe to say that it has re-entered the stage in convincing fashion. Dead Space 3 was panned for its action elements which overshadowed the previous two game’s excellent horror. The biggest change fans would probably want out of these sequel remakes, especially for the third game, is to steer it back in a more survival horror-focused direction. If Motive Studio continues to handle the remakes then it might be in safe hands. Some fans already saw this coming given the popularity of the first game’s remake.
